Changes and Obtaining a Business Acumen
Before getting into this blog, I want to apologise for not writing one last month. I have been thinking really hard about what I want to achieve in terms of my client work.
With my private practice approaching it's one year anniversary, I have been thinking a lot about what I want my private practice to be, starting out, I believed that as long as I had my desire to do best by my clients that everything else would fall into place, this was incorrect. Over the last few months I have had to think more about the business side and expanding my private practice.
So without further ado, here are the changes I want will be making:
Firstly, my blogs are going to be overhauled, I want my clients and any potential clients to be able to read them and trust that they are in/going to be in safe hands. My new blogs are going to be more personal and will include things such as; my experiences, anonymised case studies, and more information about my other work at Yorkshire MESMAC.
Secondly, my website is going to be a little bit different, I have had professional head-shots taken, that was an experience, I wanted them to be professional but still display my personality.
Thirdly, I am hoping to move my practice, I currently work from a building in LS8, this is a little out of the way, as I currently live in Wakefield. I have been viewing rooms in Leeds City Centre, I want to work from the City Centre, it is central, easy for everyone to get too and will hopefully attract more clients.
And finally, I want to endeavour to be more active on my social media.
I am very excited about putting more into my private practice, welcoming new clients and putting my all into my private practice.
